Mounts allow players to travel around the FFXIV world of Eorzea faster. There are now over 180 mounts available after the Shadowbringers expansion, and these include both walking and Flying mounts. The Heavensward expansion, first introduced Flying Mounts to the game.
There are a myriad of different ways to obtain mounts within the game, from following the main story quest, completeing side content such as beast tribe quests or carrying out raids. You can even purchase certain mounts from the FFXIV online store.
